Netting fabrics differ significantly in weight and body depending on how they are constructed. The range includes 100% nylon options tailored to distinct structural requirements:

• Veiling tulle: An exceptionally soft, sheer fabric weighing just 10gr/m2. Coming in a wide 280cm width, it gathers smoothly and drapes delicately for veils and soft garment overlays.
• Stiff net: A firmer 50gr/m2 mesh at 150cm wide, manufactured in the UK. This flare-free material provides rigid support to lift heavy skirts and costumes away from the body.
• Classic dress net: Made in England at approximately 150cm wide, this versatile nylon mesh sits between soft veiling and heavy stiff net for everyday costume and dressmaking applications.

Using nylon netting for garments and crafts

Because open nylon mesh does not fray along cut edges, it requires minimal seam finishing, making it straightforward to gather into high-density ruffles. In dressmaking, stiff and standard nets are layered into tiers to construct under-skirts, crinolines, and ballet tutus that need reliable stand-out shape.
