Fat Quarter Bundle

A fat quarter is a quarter-metre cut taken as a wide rectangle rather than a narrow strip, which makes it far more useful for patchwork — you can cut larger blocks from it than from a long thin quarter. A bundle collects several of them in a coordinated palette.

The value is in the curation. Picking six or ten prints that sit well together is the hardest part of starting a quilt, and a bundle answers it in one purchase. They are sized for patchwork blocks, cushion fronts, bag panels, bunting and small linings, and they make a straightforward gift for someone who quilts.
