Choosing the right curtain header tape width

Curtain header tape forms the structured gathering across the top edge of a drape, securing the pleats and providing rows of pockets for hanging hooks. The heading tapes in this range are woven from a white polyester and polypropylene blend, designed to hold their shape once drawn.

When deciding between the available widths, consider the drop and weight of your fabric:

• 25mm (1 inch) tape: A slim heading tape suited to lightweight curtains, sheers, and shorter window drops where a narrow band of gathering is required.
• 75mm (3 inch) tape: A standard deep heading tape that provides firmer support and a deeper pleat, making it suitable for longer drops and heavier furnishing fabrics.
