Weight where you need it

Canvas is woven dense and heavy, so it holds structure with no lining and stands up to daily handling. Plain colours are the practical end of it: the bag body, the chair cover, the apron, the thing that has to work rather than be looked at.

Use it for tote bags and rucksacks, aprons, deckchair and director chair covers, storage baskets, cushions and upholstery. Sew with a heavier needle and strong thread, and use clips at thick seam intersections where pins will not pass.
